AAA Reinvents the Travel Planning Experience at its New Vancouver Cruise & Travel Store

AAA Cruise & Travel Grand Opening January 2-31

BELLEVUE, Wash. — AAA Washington has transformed its Vancouver store into a world-class travel planning destination. The bright and open layout of the Vancouver space is the seventh Cruise & Travel location built by AAA in Washington and offers everything you could possibly need in one place to plan the vacation or road trip of your dreams.

“Our new store concept visually depicts the romance and excitement of traveling anywhere in the world,” said Kirk Nelson, President and CEO of AAA Washington. “We have everything you need to plan your next vacation from the latest travel accessories to the best agents the industry has to offer.”

The Vancouver Cruise & Travel store remains located at 4301 E. Fourth Plain Blvd, near Wintler Dr. From the moment you walk through the doors, your travel experience begins. The vivid colors, large graphic images and huge video display will whisk you away to the most exciting vacation destinations you can imagine. The aroma of fresh brewed coffee and the sounds of music from around the world are in the air. Plus, the store features all of the great insurance and membership services you’ve come to expect from your local AAA. Did you know that you don’t have to be a member to use AAA’s travel or insurance agency? It’s true.

Grand Opening:

AAA is celebrating the grand opening of its newest Cruise & Travel store January 2 – 31. Members and non-members are invited into the store all month long to enter to win a seven-night Alaska cruise for two on Holland America Line, departing from Seattle; one of two Victoria Clipper roundtrips for two, Seattle to Victoria; a $200 Delta Air Lines e-certificate; one of two multi-pocket ScotteVests and other great prizes.

Open House: January 15

The mayor, other dignitaries and the business community will be joining AAA Washington Board of Trustees member and Vancouver resident, Don Brunell, and CEO, Kirk Nelson, to cut the official ribbon on Wednesday, January 15 at noon.

Free Car Seat Inspections: January 29

To make sure the littlest passengers in our lives ride safely, AAA Washington will host a FREE car seat safety clinic on Wednesday, January 29 from 10:00 a.m. – 2p.m. Caregivers and children can drop in during that time and learn to install their car or booster seats from certified technicians.
