Soap for Hope

Give Someone a
Fresh Start

Soap for Hope is AAA Washington’s annual toiletry donation drive to help our neighbors in need with personal-care items. This year, we are expanding our request to include personal protective equipment (PPE) to help minimize the risk of contracting COVID-19.

Soap for Hope was initially created as a way for our members and clients to donate any unused, travel-size toiletries they acquired on their trips. We began accepting unopened soaps, shampoos, conditioners and lotions in 2008, and 13 years later, we have donated more than 1.2 million toiletry items to local charities throughout Washington and North Idaho!

As hotels begin to transition away from offering individual toiletries, our members have stepped up by donating full- and economy-size items. Whether big or small, every single donation makes a huge impact.

To our generous members, local communities and partner organizations — thank you for making a difference and giving someone a fresh start.
