AAA Washington Names Carrie Wilson its Chief Financial Officer

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue based AAA Washington, the preeminent provider of emergency road service in Washington and North Idaho has promoted Carrie Wilson to Chief Financial Officer, following the retirement of CFO John Iwanski. Wilson has been AAA Washington’s Director of Finance since joining the company in March 2019.

“Carrie has made many contributions since her arrival at AAA Washington,” said Kirk Nelson, AAA Washington’s CEO and president. “She is a true professional who brings her passion and energy every day in service to our members and her AAA colleagues. I am pleased to elevate her to the CFO role as a fabulous addition to our executive team.”

Prior to AAA Washington, Wilson worked as a CFO consultant through CFO Selections for various small- to mid-sized public and private companies in the greater Seattle area. Her industry background includes high-tech, software services, manufacturing and processing. She has a wide breadth of accounting experience in revenue recognition, internal and external auditing, cost accounting, SEC reporting, data analysis and budgeting. Prior to consulting work, Wilson was the CFO of Zetec, Inc. and started her carrier at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Wilson has served as President and committee member of various PTSA and Schools Foundation boards.  In June, she will join the Junior Achievement of Washington Board. She also does volunteer work through Food Lifeline, FareStart, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Wilson received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. She is also certified as a CPA in Washington State.
