Dust off Your Neglected Vacation Plans
I’m eagerly looking forward to starting 2022 with an ambitious resolution: to dust off my long-neglected travel bucket list and make it my to-do list. Although it’s tempting to return to a familiar destination — and there are many opportunities to revisit favorite destinations in Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico — I feel that there’s no time like the present to see some new and exciting, less-traveled locales.

At the top of my list: Jerusalem. I’ve always wanted to visit this historic city, and now that dream will come true in May on the Delights of Greece and Turkey cruise with Regent Seven Seas.
This voyage aboard the luxurious Seven Seas Explorer sails from Athens to Jerusalem, with jaw-dropping experiences in between, from Istanbul’s magical harbor to Santorini’s stunning black-sand beaches. I can’t wait — and I hope you can join me or consider another magical adventure in the new year.
Looking for inspiration? Check out the unique Halloween in Transylvania guided vacation in October 2022, with Club Adventures by AAA. It’s a journey that’s equal parts spooky and spectacular, with visits to Bran Castle — better known as Dracula’s Castle — as well as stops in beautiful Bucharest and so much more.
Other amazing land options include the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, a visit to Washington, D.C. and its gorgeous cherry blossoms and guided tours of our nation’s incredible national parks.
I hope this new year brings you back to travel near or far. As always, AAA is here to help you make any travel dream come true!
