AAA Washington: Coronavirus Closures

Media Advisory: AAA Washington closing stores and insurance offices

BELLEVUE, Wash. (March 16, 2020) —In keeping with health and government officials’ recommendations, AAA Washington is closing all stores and insurance offices in Washington and north Idaho. The closures, made to minimize the risk of exposure of COVID-19 to employees and the community, begin today.

While its stores and offices are closed, AAA employees continue to provide its members all the great services they’ve come to expect from AAA.

Members can call 800-AAA-HELP for emergency road service, request it online at AAA.com or on the Auto Club App. Our Emergency Road Service Technicians are cleaning their trucks frequently and eliminating handshakes, and we are coordinating rides for members who are sick.

Members can go online to AAA.com for travel, insurance, discounts and membership information; call their travel and insurance agent directly; and on-the-go members can download the Auto Club App for the iPhone or Android. (See AAA.com/locations for local phone numbers.)

“AAA Washington’s goal is to protect our members and our dedicated employees,” said Kirk Nelson, AAA Washington President and CEO. “When coronavirus began impacting our community, one of our top priorities was to protect the pay and benefits of our employees. We have been able to do this by providing work-from-home options for the majority of our employees and pay protection for our employees who are not able to perform their job remotely.”
